My soup for Lori Anderson's 7th Bead Soup Blog Hop arrived today! Here are the details:
I'm so excited to get creating with this beautiful soup from my partner Erin Kenny. There is plenty of design potential here! Thank you so much Erin! I love the color palette.
What an interesting group of focals. I've never incorporated wire wrapped stones into my work so this will be a first for me. I love that lamp work bead and can't wait to wear it! It's a deep purple with flecks of gold and a vibrant blue flower.
I'm madly in love with these 2-hole Mookaite ovals. They're so gorgeous and shiny! The photo reminds me of lipstick samples!
I've seen a lot of toggles but have yet to come across this one! I love its clean, simple design and the wonderful texture. Look at all this goodness!
I'm not sure what these guys are but I can see them on my wrist! I've got a thousand ideas running through my mind!
A spoon full of mookaite! Love it.
So, what do you think? Looks like fun huh! Erin & I will reveal our works on April 13th! Thanks for dropping by today and Namaste!

My partner for Lori Anderson's 7th Bead Soup Blog Party, Erin Kenny has reported that she is in receipt of her soup! Therefore, I can share with the world what I sent to Erin! We will swap a focal, toggle and some beads and create something spectacular and reveal it on April 13th!
Erin and I are both from Canada, eh! Here's a couple of focals to choose from. A trio of a cool Copper Bead, a Carved Jasper oval and an Aventurine Brio all temporarily wired together or a Wavy Jasper rectangle. Use one or use them all - the choice is yours Erin!
I'm a toggle freak and I like choices so I included all these tried and true toggles in beautiful copper.
Oooh, ahhh.....beautiful Aventurine and dyed orange Howlite all drilled corner to corner.
And a few more beads:
Sparkling Swarovski Crystals, Jasper and Aventurine rounds.
Copper chain and earring fixings. Not everyone designs with copper so I made sure (this time) that I included crimps, covers and wire guards!
Doesn't this look like fun?
All wrapped up and ready for the mail! Oh, I can't wait to see what Erin cooks up with the soup ingredients. April 13th is our reveal day.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Please feel free to leave a comment - I'd love to hear from you. Namaste!

Today I'm introducing my Bead Soup Blog Party Partner, Erin Kenny of Ontario, Canada!
Erin & I are part of Lori Anderson's 7th Bead Soup Blog Party with a reveal date of April 13th. We are swapping a 'bead soup' consisting of a focal, toggle & some beads and will create something wonderful with it! View my previous posts on this topic here and here to see what I've created with past soups!
As soon as I receive my soup from Erin I will post pictures of both our soups and get everybody's juices flowing! (You can read to the bottom of this blog for a beautiful teaser collage!!!) In the meantime here's a little teaser of Erin's soup:
To quote Erin, "Beading is like therapy for me - I get to express myself and I feel such a relief when I take the time to create something." Isn't that the truth?! Every beader will agree. I know I sure do!
Here's a sampling of Erin's work:

Once again Prima Beads has sent me some wonderful product to work with. This time it's the Earring Kit. Scroll through and check out the earrings I made. The easy to follow instructions (see bottom of page) made whipping up a new collection of earrings a breeze. Click here to read my previous Prima Bead Review. If you're a beginner jewelry maker you will enjoy creating these and will have no trouble following the instructions. If you're an experienced crafter you will enjoy how fast a new collection of earrings comes together and appreciate the new patterns you can incorporate into your own designs. Give Prima Beads a try - you can't beat the value!
Feel free to drop me a comment if you have any one or if you have any questions about the kit. Thanks for stopping by today and Namaste!
